Our research is focused on developing and improving immune-based therapies for pediatric malignancies that are refractory to traditional cytotoxic therapies. We explore multiple aspects of the CAR T cells biology to inform the rational and novel design of the CAR molecule and manipulations of T cells to be used in the final CAR T cell product.
